I've always loved and appreciated the art that graces album covers. I've always wondered how musical artist go about determining the art that appears on their albums, many that have become iconic, ingrained in our memories and defined a period in the band's history. This is just a fun project creating my own album covers for fictitious bands. I look for interesting images I've taken, create a fictitious band name and album title that compliments the image with the intent of giving the viewer a sense of the artist, their personality, the type of music they might play and the album title may be trying to convey to the bands audience. The viewer is free to and encouraged to fill in the blanks.
