My approach to concert photography is that of a painter. The performers and their performance are the paint and canvas which forms the basis for the image. The performance's energy, emotions, lights, sounds, grandeur, or restraint will dictate the treatment or manipulation of the image. Ultimately, creating an altogether new and personal interpretation of the concert experience.
